Hands-on Robotics, AI, and Cyber for
K-12 Students

CentreSTEM empowers Central Pennsylvania’s youth through equitable, hands-on STEM programs that inspire innovation and build our future workforce.

Our Vision:

Our Mission:

CentreSTEM, Inc. is a Centre County–based nonprofit dedicated to expanding equitable access to hands-on, project-based learning in robotics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Our programs benefit K–12 students, particularly those who lack access to advanced STEM opportunities through their schools. CentreSTEM develops students’ technical skills, problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and leadership while building a strong pipeline to support Pennsylvania’s workforce and economic growth.

Our Programs:

CentreSTEM fuels extracurricular STEM programs in our region, including:

  • Centre County 4-H Robotics, a 4-H club for students in 4th-12th grade that competes in three divisions of the FIRST Robotics Competition.

  • AI Explorers, a hands-on Artificial Intelligence summer camp for ages 8-12 offered through Penn State University’s Science-U program.

Stay tuned for additional programs being developed in Centre County and surrounding communities.
